Task 1
I would like to study at a modern and friendly school where students feel comfortable and motivated. It should be a well-equipped school with bright classrooms, a library, a computer room, a sports hall and a good canteen. I think schools should give pupils a chance to develop not only their knowledge, but also their talents and social skills. There should be clubs, sports sections and different projects so that every student can find something interesting.
The teachers should be kind, patient and professional. They should explain the material clearly and support their pupils. I think good teachers are important because they make lessons interesting and help students believe in themselves. Such a school would be a great place to study and grow.
Task 2
Student: What examinations are you going to take?
Friend: I’m going to take Maths, English and History.
Student: When are your exams going to start?
Friend: They are going to start in June.
Student: I’m worried about my future exams.
Friend: Don’t worry. If you prepare well, everything will be fine.
Student: In Russia, students usually take final exams at the end of school, and they have to work hard to pass them.
Friend: I see. Are they difficult?
Student: They can be difficult, but if you revise regularly and stay calm, you will do well.
