Task 1.
I would like to study at a modern school with a friendly and safe atmosphere. It should be a place where students feel comfortable and motivated to learn. The school should have well-equipped classrooms, a library, a computer room, a sports hall and a good canteen. It would also be great to have a language lab and a place for creative activities.
Such a school should give pupils many opportunities: to take part in clubs, sports competitions, projects, concerts and exchange programmes. Students should be able to develop not only their knowledge, but also their talents and social skills.
The teachers should be kind, patient and well-qualified. They should explain the material clearly, support students and make lessons interesting. I think such teachers help pupils enjoy learning and achieve better results.
Task 2.
— What exams are you going to take?
— I’m going to take English, Maths and History.
— Are you worried about your exams?
— Yes, I am. I’m a bit nervous about my future exams.
— What are examinations like in Russia?
— In Russia, students usually take final exams at school, and some of them are quite difficult. We have to prepare seriously for them.
— Don’t worry. If you study regularly and revise in time, you’ll do well.
— Thank you. I’ll try to be more confident.
