Task 1.
I’m a big fan of the Internet. I value it more than other types of mass media because it is fast, convenient and very informative. I can find the latest news, watch videos, read articles and communicate with people from different countries. The Internet helps me study and relax at the same time.
My parents think that the Internet is useful, but they also say that I should not spend too much time online. My friends like it too, because it gives us a lot of opportunities for entertainment and communication.
Task 2.
I enjoy watching comedies and adventure films on TV. They are interesting and funny, and they help me relax after school.
What TV programmes do you like best? Why do you enjoy watching them?
I don’t think a musical programme is a good idea for us, because I’m not really fond of musicals. They are not exciting enough for me.
Why don’t we watch a quiz show or a comedy instead? I think it will be more fun and entertaining for both of us.
