V WRITING

You’ve received a letter from your English-speaking pen friend, James.

My friends and I have just returned from a rock concert. We really had fun! It has been a wonderful day!

When did you last visit a concert? Who performed in the concert? What did you like or dislike about the concert?

Write him a letter and answer his 3 questions. Write 100–120 words. Remember the rules of letter writing.

Dear James,

Thanks for your letter. I was glad to hear that you and your friends had a great time at the rock concert.

The last time I visited a concert was two months ago. It was a pop concert in our town. A famous Russian singer performed there. The concert was really exciting and lively.

I liked the music, the atmosphere and the energy of the performers. The only thing I disliked was that there were too many people, so it was a little noisy and crowded.

Write back soon.

Best wishes,
Alex
