I like to read news stories about young people of my age. But a lot of news stories about us/teenagers are negative. I think they don’t care about our feelings. I sometimes ask myself, why they don’t write happier stories. Maybe they want more people to buy the paper?

Thanks for your letter. It was interesting to read your opinion about news stories.
I usually get my news from the Internet and TV. Sometimes I also read newspapers, but not very often. Yes, I like to read news stories, because they help me know what is happening in the world. I prefer stories about young people, sport and science. I think such news is more useful and interesting for teenagers.
I agree that many news stories about young people are negative. But I think there are also good stories, only they are not always so popular. Maybe newspapers should write more positive articles too.
