V WRITING (AB-V)

You have received a letter from your English-speaking friend, Mark.

My friends think I would become a good IT specialist. But I am not sure. I would like to be a traveller.

…What professions do you like? Why? What professions are popular with your friends?

Write him a letter and answer his 3 questions. Write 100—120 words. Remember the rules of letter writing.

Dear Mark,

Thanks for your letter. It was nice to hear from you.

I like different professions, but I think being a doctor or a teacher is very important. Doctors help people to stay healthy, and teachers help children to get knowledge. I also like creative jobs, for example, a designer or a journalist.

As for my friends, many of them would like to become programmers, IT specialists, doctors or lawyers. These professions are popular because they are interesting and well-paid.

I hope you will choose the profession that suits you best. Write back soon!

Best wishes,
Alex
