There are many types of periodicals: newspapers, magazines, journals and tabloids. They are intended for different readers: children, teenagers, adults, specialists or people interested in a certain topic. Some periodicals are serious and informative, while others are light and entertaining.

Traditionally, periodicals publish news, articles, interviews, reports, reviews, advertisements and sometimes stories or puzzles. Modern magazines and newspapers often also have online versions.

I think periodicals are useful because they broaden our knowledge and help us understand what is happening in the world. I prefer magazines and newspapers that are interesting, reliable and easy to read.
