Television has both good and bad influence on young children.

On the one hand, television gives children information and widens their horizons. It keeps them at home and can make them happier by showing kind and funny programmes.

On the other hand, television may affect children’s brains and eyes. It can also teach them violence and frighten them.

So, television should be watched in moderation, and children should choose programmes carefully.
