I chose these jobs because they are interesting, useful and important for society. I would like to help people, work with modern technology and do something that makes a difference.

Dangerous: fireman (firefighter), police officer
Need a university education: doctor, architect, lawyer, physicist, pharmacist, vet, teacher
Mostly done by men/women: men — engineer, fireman, mechanic; women — nurse, hairdresser, secretary
Prestigious: doctor, lawyer, architect, physicist, computer programmer
Well paid: doctor, lawyer, architect, computer programmer, engineer
Not very well paid: cleaner, secretary, hairdresser, social worker, librarian
