In my opinion, some teens’ problems in Western countries are also real problems in our country.

In the place where I live, drinking, smoking and drug taking among teenagers are still serious problems. Some schoolchildren try cigarettes or alcohol because they want to look older or follow their friends. Drug taking is less common, but it is a very dangerous problem too.

As for my friends and classmates, most of them are more or less prepared for future life. They know that they must study well, choose a profession and think about their plans. Of course, some of them are still unsure about their future, but many are responsible and serious.

My friends usually spend their free time in different ways. They listen to music, watch films, play computer games, go in for sports, chat online and meet each other after school.

The most important home life problems for my friends are usually lack of free time, too much homework, misunderstandings with parents and household duties. Some teenagers also have problems because their parents are too strict or do not have enough time to talk to them.

So, I think that many teens’ problems are the same in different countries, because teenagers everywhere want to be independent, successful and happy.
