Good evening, and welcome to our talk show. Today we are discussing modern young people. Mrs Collins, what do you think about teenagers today?

Do you think young people are more independent than they used to be?

What are the biggest problems modern teenagers face?

How important is social media in young people’s lives?

What advice would you give to teenagers today?

Student B (Mrs Collins):

Good evening. In my opinion, modern young people are very active and talented, but they also face a lot of pressure.

Yes, I think many teenagers are more independent now. They often make their own decisions and want to be treated as adults.

The biggest problems are probably stress, schoolwork, and the influence of social media.

Social media is very important for them, but they should use it carefully and not spend too much time online.

My advice is to work hard, believe in yourself, and try to spend more time with family and friends in real life.
