B: What?

A: I was coming back home from school when I saw an old lady get robbed.

B: Really? What happened next?

A: I called the police right away and stayed with her until they arrived.

B: Was she hurt?

A: No, luckily she wasn’t. She was very frightened, though.

B: Did the police catch the thief?

A: Yes, they did. I went to the police station and gave them a statement.
