Thanks for your email. I’d like to recommend War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy. He is one of the most famous Russian writers, and this novel is considered a classic all over the world.

The book is about Russian society during the Napoleonic Wars. It has interesting characters, exciting events and deep ideas about life, love and history. Although it is quite long, it is very enjoyable and worth reading.

I think you’ll like it because it gives a great picture of my country and its culture.
