I was walking home through the forest after school when I saw something strange near the old river. I was listening to music and thinking about my homework, so at first I didn’t notice it. Then I looked up and saw a huge monster with green skin, long arms and glowing red eyes. It was standing behind the trees and staring at me.

I felt terrified and my heart started beating very fast. I couldn’t move for a second. Then the monster made a loud noise and began to move towards me. I turned around and ran as fast as I could.

When I got home, I was still shaking. I told my parents everything, but they didn’t believe me. I will never forget that day.
