You and your friend have been asked to discuss what to put on the new website. You can choose from the following as well as use your own ideas: • pages displaying students’ work • photos of school events • a regular letter from the head teacher • a calendar of events happening during the school year. Use the language below to act out your dialogue. You can use the tapescript for Ex. 7 as a model. Make sure you discuss all the options and include your own ideas. Dialogue

A: Our school is going to set up its own website. What should we put on it?

B: I think we should include pages displaying students’ work. It would be interesting and show what we do at school.

A: Yes, that’s a good idea. What about photos of school events?

B: They would make the website more lively and attractive.

A: We could also have a regular letter from the head teacher.

B: That would be useful, but maybe not as exciting for students.

A: And a calendar of events happening during the school year would help everyone keep track of important dates.

B: I agree. But if we have to choose only two options, I’d pick pages displaying students’ work and a calendar of events.

A: I agree. Those two are the most useful for everyone.
